|South East Tasmania Forecast - Weather (Synoptic) Situation: A high centred to the east of Tasmania will direct a warm north to northeasterly airflow over the state today as a weakening cold front crosses waters south of the Bight. The remnants of the front will move over Tasmania during tomorrow with a weak high pressure system to form to the west. This high centre should move south of the state overnight then amalgamate with the main high over the Tasman Sea, with a return to warm northerly winds on Tuesday as another cold front approaches from the west. This front is expected to move across the state on Wednesday morning, clearing the northeast in the early afternoon.
