South East Tasmania Forecast - Weather (Synoptic) Situation:
A strong high pressure system is expected remain centred near the south island of New Zealand throughout the forecast period, while a low will persist off the New South Wales north coast until Saturday. A cold front approaching the west of Tasmania will weaken and stall to the southwest this evening, before dissipating tomorrow morning. A second front is expected to weaken to the west of Tasmania late on Saturday, crossing the state as a trough during Sunday, ahead of a another front expected Sunday evening.

# UPDATE # The this stations hardware was upgraded (17-07-2014) and is now running on a Davis Vantage Pro 2 system with new Rain Gauge (0.2mm res), new Anemometer (wind) also Temperature has FARS (24hr Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield), also added UV and Solar Sensors (live UV and Solar added to main page with Graphs). Added 2 Soil Temperature and 2 Soil Moisture Sensors buried at 100mm and 400mm.
